Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0December 19, 2025

The basics

By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If something here doesn't work for you, let us know—we're reasonable people.

Our services

We provide operational consulting, diagnostic assessments, and fractional leadership. Specific deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in individual engagement agreements. Those agreements govern the specifics; these terms cover everything else.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when you work with us
  • Use our materials for your business, not for resale
  • Don't use our site to do anything illegal or harmful

Intellectual property

Our frameworks, methodologies, and materials are ours. When we work together, you own the deliverables we create specifically for you. We retain the right to use generalized learnings and methodologies with other clients.

Educational content & courses

Our courses, tutorials, and educational materials are provided for informational purposes only. We make no warranties about accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

  • You assume all risk when applying course materials to your own projects
  • We're not responsible for code, websites, or applications you create
  • Third-party tools referenced (Claude Code, Vercel, etc.) are not under our control
  • Course content is not legal, business, or professional advice

Limitation of liability

We stand behind our work, but we can't guarantee specific business outcomes. Our liability is limited to the fees you've paid us. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Confidentiality

What you share with us stays with us. We treat your business information as confidential and expect the same respect for our proprietary methods. Specific confidentiality terms are detailed in engagement agreements.

Disputes

If we disagree about something, let's talk first. Most issues can be resolved with a conversation. If we can't work it out, disputes will be governed by Connecticut law and resolved in Connecticut courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the version and date above. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
